The SGC passed the Executive Board Bill Sponsorship Amendment, which allows bills to be sponsored or co-sponsored by anyone, including organizations outside of the SGC; the Meeting Community Session Amendment, which adds community sessions to SGC meetings; and the Constitution Meeting Procedures Clarification Amendment, which removes a section of the SGC constitution. 

SGC passes three bills to change meeting procedure

The Ithaca College Student Governance Council (SGC) passed three bills centered around its meeting procedures at its Feb. 1 meeting. 
Currently, there are 13 seats available in the Senate, and the position of vice president of communications is available on the SGC Executive Board. 

Prospective SGC senators share goals for Fall 2020

Junior Elijah Nishiura, vice president of campus affairs, asked sophomore Ryan Ingerson what questions he would ask Bill Guerrero, vice president for finance and administration, who the SGC plans on bringing in this semester. Ingerson said he would ask about the strategic plan, Ithaca Forever, and how it relates to the college’s plans to diversify where it receives funding.

SGC confirms new senator and tables Late Night bill
