SGC shares election votes after controversial decision to withhold counts

Vote counts from the Spring 2023 Ithaca College Student Governance Council elections revealed that first-year student Matthew Williams — who was disqualified — beat the elected president by 83 votes.

SGC announces 2023–24 executive board and senate members

SGC released the elected candidates April 25 that will serve on the executive board and senate during the 2023–24 academic year.

SGC passes amendment and bill in last semester meeting

The 2022–23 executive board for SGC met for the last time April 24 and passed an amendment and a bill.
The Student Governance Council had its annual spring platform presentations April 18 for candidates in the Spring 2023 election.  All current seats have expired for the upcoming semester, so if a council member wants to maintain their seat, they must run for re-election.
