The Ithaca College softball team closed a historic season on a high note with a doubleheader against the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers on May 3 at Kostrinsky Field. The Bombers swept the Tigers 12-0 in five innings and 5-1 in seven.

The Ithaca College softball team faced a rollercoaster of emotions April 4 in a doubleheader against the Union College Garnet Chargers. The Bombers entered the matchup with a 22-1 all-time record against the Garnet Chargers, with their last loss being in 2003. They defended their record with a 10-0, five-inning win in game one, but fell 2-1 to the Garnet Chargers in game two.
The Ithaca College softball team battled the SUNY Geneseo Knights, stormy weather and a cancelled game two to come out victorious in a planned doubleheader April 2.
As the seasons change and clocks reset, the Ithaca College softball team is springing ahead of the competition. Spring break meant the Bombers went down to Orlando, Florida, for a breakneck 10 games in five days and one-of-a-kind team building opportunity.
In 2023, the Ithaca College softball team played three pitchers throughout its season, all of which had pitched at least six innings the previous year. In 2024, the team has thrown four different pitchers onto the mound, three of which had never thrown a gametime collegiate pitch in their life.
Kostrinsky Field saw a historic doubleheader on March 26 as the Ithaca College softball team mercy-ruled the Nazareth University Golden Flyers twice, winning by scores of 8–0 and 12–0 in five innings.
The Ithaca College softball team is adjusting to having a younger team this season. In spite of this, its high-powered hitting and new age pitching staff will look to get back to the promised land to dethrone a modern day Goliath.
