Freshman wrestler has a good beginning to a potential All-American career.
Though some of the 21 field athletes on the women’s track and field team have a one- to two-week break following the indoor season, they must begin a taxing period of adjustment before competitions move outdoors.
The women’s indoor track team hosted the Bomber Invitational at Glazer Arena today, as the Bombers broke one school record, hit five Eastern College Athletic Conference marks and recorded 15 top-five finishes.
The men’s swimming and diving team went up against nine tough teams, including Division I Cornell University, last weekend in the inaugural Ithaca Invitational. The Blue and Gold finished in fourth place behind Cornell University, Hartwick College and Springfield College respectively.
Collectively, the wrestling team is ranked fourth in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association rankings, but five individual Bombers with dominant performances last season have been motivated to achieve individual glory this season.
