Rowing teams duel at Cayuga Inlet to start season

Under threats of heavy wind and thunderstorms, the Ithaca College men’s and women’s rowing teams started their spring seasons at the annual Cayuga Duels on April 1.
As studies toward athlete mental health are on the rise, the college works to bring in trained mental performance consultants to support varsity teams.

College invests in sport psychology programs for athletes

Mental performance consultants at the college, who are professionally trained in athletic psychology, are largely aiding student-athletes in developing mental, life and self-regulatory skills.
Dan Robinson 79 became the head coach of the Ithaca College mens crew team in 1988, and will retire at the end of the 2022 season. He also coached the womens crew team for four years.

IC men’s crew coach announces retirement from program
