Football seeks revenge in 65th annual Cortaca Jug game

The Ithaca College football team will participate in the 65th edition of the Cortaca Jug, traveling to bitter rival and defending 2023 national champion Cortland State Nov. 16.

The Ithaca College football team gave its senior leaders a proper sendoff by annihilating St. Lawrence University Nov. 9, making their final home game of the season a 41-0 victory. The Bombers came into the game with their playoff lives on the line, needing a defining win in order to stay in the hunt for a postseason bid.

Football returns to winning ways over Rochester

The Ithaca College football team shook off a string of offensive woes from the first few games to overwhelm the undefeated University of Rochester in a 24-0 victory on Oct.12 for their first home victory.

Bombers reclaim the Cortaca Jug in front of 40,232 fans

When the clock hit zero at the end of the fourth quarter, the Bombers had come out on top for the 38th time in the rivalry’s history with a 34–17 win at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

The No. 11/12 Ithaca College football team defeated the No. 9/11 SUNY Cortland Red Dragons 34–17 in the 63rd annual Cortaca Jug at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York.
