Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers honor African-American culture

The name of the group honors longtime Ithaca resident Dorothy Cotton, an outspoken civil rights figure who worked alongside Martin Luther King Jr.
MegsRadio, a personalized app that promotes local artists, debuted a new campaign Sept. 18 at PorchFest. The goal of this campaign is to promote local food and music to contribute to a stronger community.

Student-run online radio station features Ithaca musicians

The Howlin Brother, an old-time country-blues string band from Nashville, Tennessee, will be performing at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23 in the James J. Whalen Center for Music.
