Will Hutnick, a Connecticut-based artist who deals in the abstract and uses atypical mediums, had an artist talk for his new solo exhibition, “Changing Faster than the Weather,” on March 26. Hutnick was able to collaborate with several art students to produce a mural the weekend prior, which is now on display on the third floor of Whalen’s School of Music.

Campus community reflects on passing of trombone professor

Members of the campus community are reflecting on the lasting legacy of Harold Reynolds, recently retired trombone professor, mentor and friend.
Reynolds’s death was announced to the campus community Aug. 30 through an Intercom post. Reynolds worked at the college for 33 years and served as the adviser for the Trombone Troupe, the college’s trombone choir.

Harold Reynolds, recently retired trombone professor in the Department of Music Performance at Ithaca College, died unexpectedly. 
Junior Harris Andersen, a piano performance major, plays the piano March 20 in Hockett Family Recital Hall for his junior recital. In-person concerts have returned to the School of Music.

Ithaca College will not conduct dean searches for the School of Music, School of Business and the Roy H. Park School of Communications in the 2020–21 academic year because of the ongoing academic program review.
