Sophomore forward Jack Carney burst onto the scene this season for the Ithaca College men’s soccer team. The walk-on phenom led the charge offensively for the Bombers with five goals, which tied with junior forward Jared Krasnove for most on the team.Â
A pair of goals in the first half from junior forward Jake Donahue were all the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers needed to come away with the win over the Ithaca College men’s soccer team on Oct. 30. First-year midfielder Joshua Bourdoulous said the team’s ability to put themselves into position to score often was a bright side to the team’s performance.

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team won big on its Senior Day, defeating the No. 12 nationally ranked Vassar College Brewers on Oct. 26 with a final score of 4-2.

After taking 18 shots — five on target — the Ithaca College men’s soccer team wasn’t able to score a victory over the Misericordia University Cougars on Oct. 9, ending the game at 0-0. The Bombers defense remained dominant as they held the Cougars to only 10 shots.

The Ithaca College men's soccer team faced the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers on Oct. 28 at Carp Wood Field. The Bombers secured a crucial 2–1 win to secure the No. 3 seed in the Liberty League and advance to the Liberty League Championships.

On Sept. 23, Carp Wood Field was the site of a wet, scrappy affair, with the homesteading Ithaca College men’s soccer team knocking off the unbeaten Bard College Raptors, 3–0, in the first conference matchup of the season.Â
The Ithaca College men’s soccer team fought hard, but fell to the Vassar College Brewers in a 2–1 loss on their its Senior Day game Oct. 29 at Carp Wood Field.Â
