Saw X is the latest film in the Saw series, bringing new traps to audiences but hopefully leaving viewers with a new sense of the meaning of life.

An end of an era: ‘Saw X’ ends the ‘Saw’ franchise in a gruesome, yet philosophical way

Right off the heels of disappointing spin-offs “Jigsaw” (2017) and “Spiral” (2021), there was little hope that a 10th film in this long-running horror franchise would be able to recapture what Wan’s original film achieved. However, with a back-to-basics approach and a storyline that places John Kramer (Tobin Bell) front and center, “Saw X” manages to be one of the very best films in the entire franchise. Who would have thought?
Based on the classic Stephen King novel, It is the story of a seven children who come face to face with an ancient, evil entity. To terrorize the small town of Derry, Maine, the creature takes the form of a clown named Pennywise (‎Bill Skarsgård).
