Men’s track and field team sprinting for the top of the Liberty League

Following a second-place overall finish in the 2022 Liberty League Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Ithaca College men’s track and field team has its eyes set on the top of the mountain.
First-year student  Carter Rothwell, recruited to play track and field at Ithaca College competed in his first race as a member of the men’s cross-country team placing 52nd out of 76 runers in the field.

First-year student returns from injury to new event

At the Hamilton Invitational on Oct. 8, the Ithaca College men’s cross-country team saw a solid performance from first-year student Carter Rothwell, who crossed the line in 52nd out of 76 runners.
The Jannette Bonrouhi-Zakaim Memorial Alumni Run is the only home meet of the season for the Ithaca College men’s and women’s cross-country teams. At this year’s race, senior Danny Jagoe won the five kilometer race for the men with a time of 16:42.60, while Parley Hannan ‘20 won it for the women with a time of 18:03.00.

Men’s cross-country striving for Nationals appearance

With the summer ending and new school year approaching, the Ithaca College men’s cross-country team makes its return to the field with big ambitions.
Matt Scheffler helped coach three pole vaulters on the Ithaca College women's track and field team to top-10 finishes nationally during the indoor season. He also coaches for the men's team, which saw an athlete finish in fifth place in the country.

Men’s track and field set to defend conference championship

A year after returning to the track and winning the Liberty League, the Ithaca College men’s track and field team is looking to repeat as conference champions.
Sophomore Jalen-Leonard Osbourne set a new program record in the 60-meter dash Feb. 5 with a time of 6.78 seconds. It was the fourth time he set the record.
