The women’s track and field team enters its outdoor season looking to build on the momentum it established during the indoor season, during which the women took home the Empire 8 Championship and had three individuals set four new school records.
Junior pole vaulter Katherine Pitman has broken the Ithaca College pole vaulting record twice this season along the way to her No. 2 national ranking in the event.
The men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at The College at Brockport Golden Eagle Multi & Invitational, John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University and the Robert Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell University.
The men’s and women’s track and field team both won the Bomber Quad on Jan. 22. On Jan.23, junior Katherine Pitman broke her own school record in the pole vault.
