Women’s lacrosse cruises to win over Red Dragons

The Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team led a 14-3 blowout against the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons on March 1, improving to 2-0 on the season. The last time the two faced off, the Bombers managed to eke out an 11-10 win in overtime, with an overall record of 24-33-1 against the Red Dragons.
Madison Mulligan, assistant coach for the Ithaca College women's lacrosse team, was among a select group of coaches to join the IWLCA Aspire Program. The program seeks to advance coaches' professional expertise.

Despite the rain, it was a phenomenal day at Higgins Stadium as the Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team successfully completed its revenge tour and won its first Liberty League Championship against No. 7 William Smith in an 11–10 overtime win.

It was definitely a great day to be a Bomber as the No. 18 ranked Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team absolutely crushed the current No. 2 ranked team in the country, the William Smith College Herons, in a decisive 16–3 victory.

Controlling the leaderboards: Junior shatters program record for draw controls

The previous record was held by Reid Simoncini ’19, who amassed an impressive 230 draw controls over 76 games. However, in only 28 games, Wise has notched an unbelievable 292 draw controls.

Women’s lacrosse shoots for first Liberty League title

The spring season of sports has begun, which means the return of the Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team to Higgins Stadium. 
The women’s lacrosse team raised money for suicide prevention and Alzheimers awareness Sept. 10. The team split into two groups to be able to attend both of the walks, which were at the same time.
