Pop culture conference empowers academics

On the weekend of April 21–22, members of the Ithaca College community eagerly participated in the sixth edition of the Pippi to Ripley Conference.
Hip-hop artist Enongo Lumumba-Kasongo, whose stage name is Sammus, performs Feb. 26 at an Ithaca Underground show at The Haunt. Sammus will perform April 21 in the Emerson Suites and lead a panel the following day on race and video gaming as part Pippi to Ripley.
