After fighting into double overtime, the No. 23 Ithaca College women’s lacrosse fell 15-14 to the University of Scranton Royals on March 7 at Higgins Stadium. The Bombers held a steady lead from the middle of the first quarter into the fourth quarter, but could not hang on to the No. 17 Division III team. The team’s first home game of 2026 also marked its first loss of the season.
As the 2024-25 academic year comes to a close, the student-athletes of Ithaca College find themselves amid another season of spring sports. For several Bombers teams, they have looked toward first-year players for immediate contributions and their faith in recent recruits has been rewarded.Â
The Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team took home a fierce yet challenging Liberty League Championship Tournament win April 5, defeating St. Lawrence University Saints 10-7. The stands were filled with fans as the Bombers got their seventh win of the season and their fourth in conference play.
