Local film festival celebrates Latino heritage

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Cultura Ithaca and The Latino Civic Association of Tompkins County (LCA) organize the Cine con Cultura Latinx American Film Festival in Ithaca every fall.

Clubs put on events to celebrate Black History Month

Brothers 4 Brothers and Sister 2 Sister are clubs in the African, Latino, Asian and Native American community who are celebrating Black History Month.
The film festival, Cine Con Cultura, features films produced in Latin American cultures. All 11 films are in Spanish or Portuguese. Tickets are $7.50 per film or $6 for seniors and students. Festival passes are $50 for all films and $40 for seniors and students. Select screenings will be shown for free.
