Local film festival celebrates Latino heritage

The festival features 12 Latin American films. All the films are in Spanish or Portuguese, and will be showing at local venues. General admission is $8.50 and student/senior tickets are $6.00. The festival started on Sept. 19 and will end on Oct. 15.

Annual film festival brings Latin American movies to Ithaca

This is the event’s fourth year but is the first to involve formal collaboration with Cornell University and Ithaca College students.
The film festival, Cine Con Cultura, features films produced in Latin American cultures. All 11 films are in Spanish or Portuguese. Tickets are $7.50 per film or $6 for seniors and students. Festival passes are $50 for all films and $40 for seniors and students. Select screenings will be shown for free.
