A live-action remake of its 1998 classic, Disney's "Mulan" contains vibrant scenery, but this does not make up for the new film's dull plot.
"Dumbo" has thrilling, high-flying moments, but most of the time the acting is bland and the story is convoluted. The human actors have little appeal and are hard to relate to. Overall, this live-action adaptation does little to honor it's predecessor.
