As fall sports have started to come to an end, the Bombers have been getting a kick-start on their training for the 2023–24 indoor track and field season. After losing key athletes such as pentathlete Logan Bruce ’23 and pole vaulter Megan Matheny ’23, the team must adjust to the new team dynamic.Â
At the Bomber Invitational on Feb. 4 and 5, graduate student Logan Bruce highlighted the second day of competition after setting a new school record in the pentathlon.Â
Following a triumphant Spring 2022 outdoor season where the Ithaca College women’s track and field team finished 28th in the country, the Bombers are ready to resume competition.
Ithaca College sat at 44th in Division III after Fall 2021 in the Learfield Directors' Cup, but vaulted to the 14th spot thanks to strong winter performances.

A total of four Ithaca College athletes won national titles over the past week, garnering two individual NCAA championships each for the Bombers’ track and field and swimming and diving programs.Â
Two Ithaca College athletics programs reached the top of the conference, posting Liberty League Championships for the college’s women’s swimming and diving and women’s track and field teams.
Following a fourth-place finish at last year’s NCAA outdoor championships, the Ithaca College women’s track and field team is looking to eager to return to the national championships.

After a successful Spring 2021 season that saw the Bombers win national championships in three different events, the Ithaca College women’s track and field team is returning to action.
After ending the 2020 indoor season ranked No. 2 in the country, the Ithaca College women’s track and field team is back in the top 10 for the outdoor season.
