During the 2023 regular season, the Ithaca College field hockey team boasted a perfect, 4–0, record in overtime play. The Bombers earned post-regulation victories over the University of Scranton, Skidmore College, SUNY New Paltz, and the University of Rochester.

Overtime victories prove field hockey is cool under pressure

The 1–0 victory over the University of Rochester improved the team’s post-regulation record to a perfect 4–0; the first time the team has ever gone undefeated during extra time in program history.

Field hockey sends three to national senior game

Each year, the NFHCA recognizes 60 all-star senior athletes across all six national regions to compete in an event designed to showcase high-level field hockey stemming from all over the country.
The Ithaca College field hockey team will finish their 2022 season with a 14–4 record following a 1–0 loss to the Herons. The team still has a chance to earn an at-large bid in the NCAA DIII field hockey tournament.

After falling 1–0 to the University of Rochester in double overtime, the Ithaca College field hockey team was quick to bounce back with a 2–0 victory over the Herons of William Smith College.

Field hockey stays undefeated with non-conference win

The Ithaca College field hockey team lengthened their winning streak to 3–0 following a 3–0 victory against the Cougars of Misericordia University under the lights Sept. 7.
Senior striker Elizabeth Pillow tallied her second goal of the season, helping lead the team to a 4-1 victory against St. John Fisher on Sept. 4 to start their season 2—0.
