Ithaca College Athletics released this mockup of Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium after it receives its new artificial turf surface. The field, which has historically only been used by the football program, will also be usable by other varsity sports as well as intramurals and club sports, but will no longer include an outdoor track around it.

Artificial turf raises concerns about equity and injuries

Cortaca Jug game to be held at Yankee Stadium in 2022

In a joint press conference between Ithaca College, SUNY Cortland and the New York Yankees, it was announced that the 2022 Cortaca Jug Game would be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 12, 2022 at Yankee Stadium.

Ithaca College athletics hires new football head coach

Dan Swanstrom has been hired as the new Ithaca College head football coach. He is the tenth coach in program history.
Ithaca College is beginning to implement diversity training for all alumni volunteers, including members of the Board of Trustees and Alumni Association Board of Directors, the first of which to take place over alumni weekend. Carrie Brown, executive director of alumni relations, selected Craig B. Clayton, a consultant and speaker, to lead the sessions.
