Following a summer of work by the presidential search committee, meeting and vetting candidates, the search for a new president of Ithaca College has been narrowed to under 30 candidates. The committee's stated goal is to select a new president of the college by the end of 2016.

Ithaca College has set a date range for administering its second campus climate survey, which will assess how the community feels about living and learning at the institution.
Freshman Carlie McClinsey was voted in as 2016–17 senate chair of the Student Government Association at the May 2 meeting, running against two other candidates on a platform for strengthening the senate and stabilizing the constitution.
The Ithaca College Student Government Association Senate passed a wide-reaching set of five bills at its final meeting May 2, marking the highest number of bills passed at a meeting this semester.

IC Office announced its platform for the 2016–17 Student Government Association Executive Board at the April 21 SGA platform speech night. Its platform focuses on a re-evaluation of the SGA, including efforts to improve transparency, accessibility, horizontal leadership and shared governance.
IC Office has announced its candidacy of for the 2016–17 Student Government Association Executive Board. Voting will commence via email and Orgsync on April 28 and 29.
At the April 4 Student Government Association meeting, members of the Ithaca College student senate put forward three bills, two of which did not pass the proposal stage and the other of which was voted down.
Ithaca College SGA appointed a new vice president of campus affairs Feb. 15. The decision came after a long and convoluted process that began over winter break with the resignation of former vice president, Yena Seo.
