New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill legalizing recreational marijuana in New York state March 31, but not much will change for Ithaca College students.
Marijuana convictions can prevent people from job opportunities, drive them away from their families and invite them into the criminal system.
Ithaca College will be adhering to a new law implemented in New York state, which has decriminalized marijuana.
The product must be regulated in form, concentration and packaging.
