A group of Ithaca College students and alumni are covering themselves in fake blood for a photo campaign called My Blood is Good, protesting what they say are discriminatory blood donation guidelines by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The photos, which have gone viral this week after the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida, on June 12 and World Blood Donor Day on June 14, are part of a campaign by Ithaca College students and alumni called “My Blood Is Good.”
The Ithaca College Chamber Orchestra is made up of 35 students, and will be joined by renowned pianists Gilbert Kalish and Miri Yampolsky for a performance Dec. 5.
