Curtis’s walkoff sends Bombers to next round of playoffs

The Ithaca College baseball team took on the Vassar College Brewers in the first two games of the Liberty League Crossover Series on May 3. However, with the Bombers’ bats catching fire, there will be no need for a third game, as the South Hill squad won the first game 11–1 and the second game 9–5 with the help of some late-game heroics.

Bombers put on dominant showcase on Senior Day

On a cold and rainy Senior Day, the Ithaca College baseball team had nothing to sulk around about, as the team lit up the Hobart College Statesmen by scores of 8–4 and 9–0 on April 27. With those wins, the team clinched the no. 1 seed in the Liberty League and home field advantage for the Liberty League Crossover Series on May 4.

Reaction time training hopes to take Baseball program into the future

This season, the Ithaca College baseball team’s winter practices featured a unique addition. The team had their normal hitting and fielding stations, but this year, there was a new station at practice — the FITLIGHT reaction time training system.

Bombers finish off Yellowjackets behind sound pitching

The Ithaca College baseball team hosted its Liberty League rival, the University of Rochester Yellowjackets at Valesente Diamond at Freeman Field on a chilly afternoon, April 21. After splitting a double header in Rochester on April 20, the Bombers came out victorious in a 5–1 contest to secure a series victory.

The afternoon of April 9 was the perfect day for baseball as the Ithaca College baseball team defeated out-of-conference foe Hamilton College 12–11 at Valesente Diamond at Freeman Field.

The Ithaca College baseball team played their first game at Freeman Field this season on April 1. In a game that lasted 10 innings, the Bombers came up on top 4–3 against the St. John Fisher University Cardinals to extend their win streak to six games.
