The Ithaca College men’s basketball team saw its season come to an end Feb. 24 at the hands of the St. Lawrence University Saints, 72-64. In the first round of the Liberty League Championships, St. Lawrence’s 2-3 zone defense overwhelmed the Bombers, who never led in the game.

The Ithaca College men’s basketball team clinched a spot in the Liberty League playoffs Feb. 20 and will travel Feb. 24 to play the fourth seed St. Lawrence University, despite losing to the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds 91-83 the same evening. The team followed up its loss and clinched with a momentous 76-73 victory over the Vassar College Brewers on Feb. 21.

The Ithaca College men’s basketball team is now 5-10 and 4-4 in the Liberty League after a series of weekend conference matchups against the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers and the Bard College Raptors on Jan. 16 and 17 at the Ben Light Gymnasium. 

Coming off a tough road loss to Western New England University on Nov. 22, the Ithaca College men’s Basketball team fought for a win against the University of Rochester Yellowjackets in the Ben Light Gymnasium on Dec. 2 but fell short 104-95 in an overtime thriller.
