The baseball team held a slim 3–0 lead heading into the bottom of the sixth inning of its game against Empire 8 Conference opponent Stevens Institute of Technology yesterday. But the floodgates opened in that inning, as 11 runs crossed home plate in the bottom frame.
The baseball team (21–8–1 overall, 10—4 Empire 8) swept its doubleheader Saturday against the Stevens Institute of Technology (20—15 overall, 5—8 Empire 8) on Freeman Field.

The baseball team returned to Empire 8 Conference play with a 1–0 road loss Friday against St. John Fisher College (20—8 overall, 5—4 Empire 8). The loss is the second in a row for the Blue and Gold and drops their record to 18–6–1 on the season and 8–2 in conference play.
The baseball team had its winning streak snapped against the visiting University of Rochester YellowJackets today in a 7–5 loss.
The baseball team completed its three-game series against Utica College with a 14-4 victory today in Utica, N.Y. The Bombers are now 18—4—1 overall and sit atop the Empire 8 Conference standings.
The baseball team traveled to Utica College on Saturday and swept the host Pioneers in a doubleheader. The Bombers trailed in the first game but eventually won 12–6 and then defeated the Pioneers in the following game by the identical score.
While the baseball team is off to its best start in Empire 8 Conference play in three seasons, each player’s appearance is also speaking volumes about the Bombers’ unity this season.
