The Ithaca College Sexual Violence Prevention Committee hosted its kickoff event April 9 to begin a monthlong series of events for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Ithaca community says #MeToo to take back the night

Students marched as part of Take Back the Night, a worldwide movement dedicated to protesting acts of sexual, domestic and relationship violence April 27.
Andrew Kosinuk, crime prevention and community events liaison for the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management, said the announcement for active shooter training was sent to remind the campus community of the resources available to them.

Peer-educated bystander training coming to Ithaca College

The Advocacy Center of Tompkins County and the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management are collaborating to bring the national sexual assault–prevention program “Bringing in the Bystander” back to Ithaca College this semester with peer education–based training, beginning next week.
