The Ithaca College contingent faculty union announced that a majority of the contingent faculty who voted, voted in favor of ratifying the contract.

Ithaca College prepares for possible contingent faculty strike

For over a year, the college has been in a bargaining battle with two contingent faculty unions and the prospect of a strike is looming.
Members of the Ithaca College part time–faculty union walked out of negotiations with the administration Sept. 23 after receiving what they said was a disappointing counterproposal on compensation. On Dec. 8, the union announced that it may hold a strike vote at the beginning of next semester.
