This year’s South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas was filled to the brim with incredible new projects. Festival goers were able to get first-looks at Alex Garland’s “Civil War,” Dev Patel’s “Monkey Man” and Amazon Prime’s new “Fallout” series. But every large media festival is bound to have some less than satisfactory projects, and SXSW is no different. 

"Renfield" had the potential to become a horror comedy classic, but instead sucks all the blood out of itself and leaves nothing but a husk.

Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal deliver a solid comedy that successfully creates a refreshing take on the buddy film trope.

The newest Nick Cage movie is as disturbing in its excessive gore as it is in the way it treats its female characters.
