2022–23 demographics data has become more inclusive after the Common App and the college started recording students’ gender identity.

Transgender and nonbinary students are able to live in the new Open Pages Residential Learning Community (RLC) starting in Fall 2022.
The findings of The Ithacan Diversity Report shows that 33.4% of The Ithacans board is represented by persons of color (BIPOC) and 51.9% of the board identify as heterosexual.
