Why do high schoolers all over the world set their sights on colleges in the United States? Why did I choose to study in a different country instead of staying back home? The long answer would be endless. The short answer is one word: experience.
The Student Governance Council had its annual spring platform presentations April 18 for candidates in the Spring 2023 election.  All current seats have expired for the upcoming semester, so if a council member wants to maintain their seat, they must run for re-election.

The Student Governance Council had its annual spring platform presentations April 18 for candidates in the Spring 2023 election.
Tanya Saunders, assistant provost of international programs and extended studies, said Ithaca College is planning to cut more than half of its study abroad programs for the 2017–18 academic year. Currently, the college has 249 affiliated study abroad programs available to students. The revised list has 68 total, 22 of which are new programs.

The Office of International Programs at Ithaca College is planning to cut more than half of its study abroad programs for the 2017–18 academic year.
Members of the Ithaca College administration, including Nancy Pringle, senior vice president and general counsel for the Division of Human and Legal Resources, are in the process of meeting with staff members in departments that experienced cuts through the college’s workforce analysis to debrief on how employees are adjusting.
