IC organizations adjust to recognition process

With over 250 clubs at Ithaca College for students to join, the recognition process that clubs have to complete each semester has raised some concerns, as organizations are facing new requirements this academic year.  
The Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life created the Center for IDEAS in 2018 to support underrepresented students at the college.

IC SGC passes bill that sets guidelines for spending

Ithaca College’s Student Governance Council passed the Allocations Committee Reform II Bill and elected three new senators Feb. 13.
Twelve sport managment students and two professors had the opportunity to volunteer at the 2017 Super Bowl in Houston. They volunteered at the Super Bowl Live event, a fan festival outside of the stadium, where they ran different games.

The failure of the Office of Civic Engagement is a prime example of an initiative that seemed to be all talk and no action.
A new space for the Office of Civic Engagement has been designated in the Peggy Ryan Williams Center at Ithaca College. However, the office is unoccupied and “on hold,” pending a search for a new executive director.

President Rochon creates goals for remainder of his presidency
