She and her husband, Roy H. Park — after whom the Roy H. Park School of Communications was named in 1989 — founded the Park Foundation in 1966, which has funded many projects at the college, in the community and across the nation.
Tom Rochon has been president of Ithaca College since July 2008. His tenure has seen several campus initiatives, but it has also been marked by campus controversies and problems with the college’s racial climate.

A decade of Park scholars will remember Matthew Fee, former Park Scholar Program director from the Roy H. Park School of Communications, who now leaves Ithaca College with a program that has gained a greater national reputation and focus on service.
