Dave Maley, director of public relations, said via email that the college’s alumni participation rate — the percentage of alumni who give back to the college — has decreased from 12.2% in the 2010 fiscal year to 6.4% in the 2019 fiscal year.

Ithaca College Professor Robyn Wishna started the We Are Ithaca project to feature the personalities of Ithaca community members. Wishna set up twenty photo sessions through the middle of November, which anyone can attend and photo subjects are encouraged to bring props.

Tom Rochon has been president of Ithaca College since July 2008. His tenure has seen several campus initiatives, but it has also been marked by campus controversies and problems with the college’s racial climate.
Geena Davis has acted in a number of films and televisions shows. She also founded the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
