New mail system decreases number of mailrooms on campus

In an effort to streamline Ithaca College’s mail system, there will now only be two mailrooms on campus, Phillips Hall Post Office and Circles Mailroom, for on-campus residents to pick up both package
Because students are able to order many different products online through services like Amazon, package deliveries to Ithaca College have soared over the years, causing clutter in the mail rooms.

Mail Center Madness: 2,050 packages delivered in one day

In one day, Aug. 29, the Ithaca College mail center received 2,050 packages. Peter Schlough, manager of Mail Services, said this broke the previous record by more than 200 packages.
