The Phillips Hall Post Office at Ithaca College is collecting used mascara wands to donate to the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge. The wands are effective tools to remove fly eggs and larvae from animal fur because the dense and gentle bristles reduce the risk of injuring the small animals.

The Phillips Hall Post Office is collecting used mascara wands to donate to the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge. This collection is a part of the refuge’s Wands for Wildlife program.
Ithaca College residents line up at Phillips Hall Post Office in Campus Center to pick up their mail. Now, residents are able to get both letters and packages at the same location.

New mail system decreases number of mailrooms on campus

In an effort to streamline Ithaca College’s mail system, there will now only be two mailrooms on campus, Phillips Hall Post Office and Circles Mailroom, for on-campus residents to pick up both package
Because students are able to order many different products online through services like Amazon, package deliveries to Ithaca College have soared over the years, causing clutter in the mail rooms.
