Laura Campbell Carapella, associate professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, said she used funding from the college’s President’s Seed Grant, a grant that faculty and staff apply for to help to fund projects that add to the campus community, as well as her own savings. The app is still being tested by focus groups and modified with the goal of being released to the entire campus in Fall 2020.

The mentoring network is a crucial addition to the college that is sure to help many integral members of our college community.
Julie Dorsey, associate professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy, hosted the kickoff event for the Women's Mentoring Network Oct. 9. Dorsey created the Women's Mentoring Network to provide mentoring and networking opportunities for female faculty and staff at the college.

Julie Dorsey BS ’01 MS ’03 has developed the Women’s Mentoring Network, a program for female faculty and staff to support each other in their career goals.
The Intermediate and Advanced Drawing classes collaborated with a biology research lab to study oral microbiomes and how they tie into into a person's understanding of their identity.
