Professors at Ithaca College are paid less than their counterparts at similar four-year private colleges in New York state. Despite this data, some faculty and administrators believe it is not fair to compare these other institutions in New York state to the college.
Tiffani Ziemann, Title IX Coordinator, receives complaints of sexual harassment, sexual assault and discrimination at Ithaca College. The office of Title IX will receive an increase in funding for the 2016–17 academic year, the first time it will have a dedicated budget.

Ithaca College’s office of Title IX will receive an increase in funding for the 2016–17 academic year. Having previously received money on an as-needed basis, Fall 2016 marks the first time that Title IX will have a cemented budget.
Benjamin Rifkin, provost and vice president for educational affairs, is head of a team monitoring Ithaca Colleges reaccreditation process. The college is currently in The Middle States Commission on Higher Education reaccreditation process, a procedure to evaluate if the college is reaching certain standards of quality higher education.
