During Fall 2023, Ithaca College students have continued to test positive for COVID-19 but have found themselves at a loss for what to do next. The college has discontinued its quarantine housing options and support services, which is less than ideal for the communal living that college promotes.
Ithaca College has updated some of its COVID-19 protocols and is encouraging members of the campus community to get vaccinated for both the flu and COVID-19.Â

At the peak of the spike Aug. 25, the college’s online COVID-19 Tracking Dashboard reported 55 student cases, which exceeded Boothroyd Hall’s 40 isolation rooms.
IC announced its COVID-19 policies for Fall 2022 including required testing for move-in but surveillance testing will not be required for any individuals.
