The Common Council’s tenant majority can lead to solutions for renter-centric problems, like their concerns over added flood insurance costs they might have to incur after preliminary drafts of Ithaca’s revised flood maps were released in 2022. 

Currently, my living arrangement is a little different. I actually live by myself, which is something I have wanted to do for a while.

With the rising prices of textbooks, students at Ithaca College and nationally are turning to alternative sources to purchase their books, such as renting websites like Chegg and the rental program at the college’s Bookstore.
