At Ithaca College, there are many resources for transgender and queer students to receive housing that is accommodating to their needs, but some students and staff at the college agree that there are still improvements to be made.
“I think it provides a space for students who are interested in more than just a place to sleep at night,” Bobbe said.
Students and faculty have teamed with the Office of Residential Life and the Office of Facilities at Ithaca College to revitalize the rooftop of the Terrace Dining Hall with possible micro-gardens, artwork and other decorations.
The Office of Residential Life is rethinking some parts of the First Year Residential Experience plans in response to negative views from students.
