Students create housing for transgender and nonbinary peers

Transgender and nonbinary students are able to live in the new Open Pages Residential Learning Community (RLC) starting in Fall 2022.
It is not decided where the African Diaspora learning community will be housed on campus, but other learning communities exist in the Terrace dorms, pictured above.

Dual language learning community to return to Ithaca College

“You can study through books, but by personal experiences, you get to master it,” he said. “The books won’t show you the language of the street. You need to go out and, for example, learn slang. These communities would help with the oral component.”
Sophomore Marci Rose, a member of Ithaca College’s Interfaith Council, will be the resident assistant of a new  residential learning community that opens next semester for students representing various religions on campus.

IC student creates Residential Learning Community

Beginning in Fall 2015, the Office of Residential Life will be introducing a new Residential Learning Community on campus in an attempt to provide an educational experience for students where they can learn from each other’s religious beliefs and begin conversations on religion and faith.
