As a community, I feel we need to do better. Coming home from a long day at work and seeing images of 50-plus kids at a party is a slap in the face.

IC forbids students in restricted states from returning to campus

Ithaca College reinforced its decision to not aloow students from states on New York’s travel advisory list to return for the 2020–21 academic year. 
Ithaca College President Shirley M. Collado speaks at the All-College Gathering on Jan. 28. At the gathering, Collado spoke about the college community’s concerns about the campus climate regarding diversity and inclusion and upcoming economic and structural changes.

IC shares possible 2020-21 academic calendar options

Task Force co-chairs, La Jerne Cornish and Rosanna Ferro, announced there are four possible 2020-21 academic calendar options during a meeting June 18 via Zoom.
La Jerne Cornish, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, and Rosanna Ferro, vice president for student affairs and campus life, provided context for the college’s reopening and updates from the Return to Campus Task Force in an email sent to the college community June 8.

IC adds new subgroup to Return to Campus Task Force

Ithaca College has expanded the Return to Campus Task Force but has not yet released more details about the 2020–21 academic calendar.
Cornell University Police received a call of bombs being placed in Law School, Goldwin Smith, Upson Hall and Kennedy Hall at 2:12 p.m.
