Review: Powerful ensemble grounds story of survival

“The Discovery,” released March 31, is a Netflix Original in which millions of people commit suicide after a scientist confirms the existence of an afterlife. The film features Robert Redford, Rooney Mara and Jason Segel.

Review: Netflix’s afterlife drama feels like an afterthought

Though there’s nothing wrong with a plot twist or cliffhanger, the film ends in such a way that the viewer is left with nothing more than confusion.
