Ithaca College hosts TEDx conference for campus community

On Sept. 17 a Snapchat geofilter for the Roy H. Park School of Communications went live. The geofilter was created by senior Meagan Shepherd.
Rothschild Place, a temporary structure that has been on Ithaca College’s campus for over a decade has operated under a temporary occupancy permit since its creation. Despite moving from a temporary to a permanent occupancy permit in August, there are no plans to build a permanent structure in the near future.

No plans to renovate Rothschild Place despite permit changes

Rothschild Place, a temporary structure on Ithaca College’s campus built in 2004 to house department overflow, has been operating under a temporary occupancy permit since its creation. However, the college applied for and was granted a permanent occupancy permit for the building Aug. 2. Despite this change, there are no plans at this time to renovate or build a permanent structure.
The new lab, located in the Center for Natural Sciences, is now the largest centralized area for 3-D printing on Ithaca College’s campus.

Senior Suba Chakraborty was born with a disability causing his leg to stop growth after his thigh. Chakraborty said the campus is a challenge for him to navigate.

Ithaca College works to address ADA compliance issues
