The Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland football teams renewed their rivalry in the 65th annual Cortaca Jug game on Nov. 16, with the Bombers falling to the Red Dragons, 28-17.
The Ithaca College football team gave its senior leaders a proper sendoff by annihilating St. Lawrence University Nov. 9, making their final home game of the season a 41-0 victory. The Bombers came into the game with their playoff lives on the line, needing a defining win in order to stay in the hunt for a postseason bid.Â
After a 9–3 campaign came to an end in the second round of the NCAA Championships in 2023, the Ithaca College football team is back with a new look and the same hunger as the last two conference championship rosters.
The Jug is returning to Cortland, New York, as the Ithaca College football team dropped the 64th annual Cortaca Jug to the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons by a final score of 38–28.
The Ithaca College football team defeated the St. Lawrence Saints by a final score of 51–14, the win earning the Bombers a second straight season of sweeping its Liberty League opponents.Â
For the second straight season, the Ithaca College football team is the Liberty League Champion after a 62–0 win over Buffalo State University on Oct. 28.Â
On a rain-soaked day, the Ithaca College football team earned a hard-fought victory, downing the Union College Garnet Chargers by a final score of 17–9 at Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium.
On a cloudy and rainy day, the Ithaca College football team did something they had not done in 22 years, defeating the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers in Troy, NY, in a thrilling 20–17 overtime victory.

On Nov. 29, 2022, Ithaca College announced its plans to upgrade its natural grass football field to artificial turf. Just under a year later, the Ithaca College football team is preparing to compete on Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium for the first time.Â

The Ithaca College football team has won the 2022 Liberty League title, defeating Union College 31–28 Nov. 5 at Frank Bailey Field in Schenectady, New York.
