Open Letter: HPPE professors voice support for faculty unions

If we are to realize fully IC’s vision of a “student-centered learning community,” we must ensure that all instructors are compensated equitably.
Members of the Ithaca College part time–faculty union walked out of negotiations with the administration Sept. 23 after receiving what they said was a disappointing counterproposal on compensation. On Dec. 8, the union announced that it may hold a strike vote at the beginning of next semester.
