Vote counts from the Spring 2023 Ithaca College Student Governance Council elections revealed that first-year student Matthew Williams — who was disqualified — beat the elected president by 83 votes.

The Ithaca College Student Governance Council (SGC) held platform presentations where students running for the SGC executive board and senate for the 2022–23 academic year announced their candidacy.Â
