The Ithaca College Student Governance Council (SGC) met Jan. 29 to hear from Jeffery Golden, associate vice president of Auxiliary Services, hold a confirmation for the elections committee and have an orientation for new and returning SGC members for Spring 2024.
Luca Maurer, the executive director for Student Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in the Center for Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, met with the SGC to discuss the structure of the center and the efforts it is putting in to create a more welcoming campus.

The Ithaca College Student Governance Council met Dec. 4 to confirm a new senate chair and heard from the executive director for Student Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in the Center for Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.

Scott Doyle, director of the Office of Energy Management and Sustainability, met with the Student Governance Council on Oct. 23 to discuss actions for sustainability at Ithaca College. The SGC also heard from Iurii Kovalenko, the field service representative for Apogee.
Sophomore Rishabh Sen, vice president of campus affairs, went over the details of writing a bill and explained the different types of amendments to new members of the Student Governance Council.

SGC gives overview of responsibilities to new members and lays out upcoming plans

The Ithaca College Student Governance Council met Sept. 25 for its inaugural meeting with new senate members, who were elected Sept. 19. The meeting was a senate orientation meant to familiarize these new members with SGC procedures, policies and best practices.
The Ithaca College Student Governance Council discussed the procedures for upcoming elections and confirmed members to the Elections Committee during the first meeting of the semester August 29.
